Gini Mal Pokuru
“Gini Mal Pokuru” (translated as Flowers of Fire) is a 2021 Sri Lankan Sinhala film directed by Udayakantha Warnasuriya. The film is categorized as an adult romantic drama and is based on a true incident from Sri Lanka. It revolves around a young woman who becomes entangled with a senior government officer while attempting to protect her lover from the consequences of an accidental crime.
The movie stars Isuru Lokuhettiarachchi, Chulakshi Ranathunga, and Charith Abeysinghe in the lead roles, supported by Ananda Kumara Unnahe and Dilrufa Hanaz. Cinematography is by Ayeshmantha Hettiarachchi, with music composed by Sarath de Alwis. It is co-produced by a team including Prasad Rodrigo, Bandula Gunawardena, and others for U Creations.
