“July 7” (Sinhala: ජූලි 07 යි) is a 2016 Sri Lankan Sinhala comedy film directed by Sanjaya Nirmal and produced by Charith Abeysinghe under Head Master Films. The film is inspired by the French play Don’t Dress for Dinner by Marc Camoletti, adapting its humor and plot twists to fit the Sri Lankan context.
The storyline revolves around Tony and Robin, whose secret affairs are on the verge of being exposed when their lovers unexpectedly end up under the same roof. The plot thickens with the introduction of Susie, a cook who takes on a key role, leading to comedic situations and mistaken identities.
